Flag of the United States


The USA flag is the official flag of the US federal. The flag has been modified 26 times since its design from 1775 to this day. The flag of the us was originally almost like the flag of British Malay Archipelago Company.

Today, the flag has 13 white and red bands and fifty stars. The 13 gangs represent 13 colonies that rebelled against Britain for the primary time, resulting in American independence.

The 50 white stars during a blue background also represent the 50 states that are now members of the us. It should notice that every of the 50 us also has its own official state flag.

History of USA flag

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress passed a resolution establishing a politician flag for every new nation.
“The flag of the us has 13 stripes, one among which is white and therefore the other red,” the resolution said. Which is joined by 13 white stars on a blue background.

On August 3, 1949, President Harry S Truman officially declared Flag Day as Flag Day, which kept the country’s wars and battles alive and well.

Since 1775, there are 27 different versions of the American flag, the US flag being unique during this respect, as most countries don’t change their flags and like to stay the national flag’s fixed design.

This may cause many plans being made by ordinary citizens also because of the legislature.

While the stripes remain an equivalent for many versions of the American flag, the star background has had many interesting patterns. Some versions of the flag, which were more informal. hey arranged during a circle, a diamond, and even a star. So in many versions of this flag, only the form of its stars has changed.

Current flag

The current US flag has 50 stars, indicating 50 states. the present USA flag has 13 lines, of which 7 are red and 6 are white. Red may be a sign of stubbornness and courage, blue may be a sign of vigilance, endurance and justice, and white may be a sign of purity and innocence.

Interesting facts about the American flag

There is controversy on who and when allowed the US flag to be half-raised. generally, the flag is going to be hoisted for 60 days just for the death of the President and 30 days for the death of the vice-chairman

But there are many other flags that are hoisted in honor of the death of somebody. A recent example is that the death of Senator McCain.

However, if you raise the flag ahead of your home halfway to the death of a loved one or neighbor, it won’t hurt anyone.

Every year, Americans celebrate 14 June as “Flag Day.” today commemorates the adoption of the American flag on Flag Day, 1777. Since 1916, when then-President Wilson issued a decree designating Flag Day as Flag Day, Americans are celebrating today per annum.
